Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Pontinia (Latina), and take ownership of the accounting and day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities in Italy. 

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Manage the full accounting cycle for several group entities in Italy
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements
  • Prepare, review, and execute supplier payments and bank transactions ensuring proper traceability 
  • Maintain relationships with banks and payment platforms
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Coordinate with external advisors (tax, audit, legal)
  • Ensure the preparation of all required documentation for grants application and compliance.

Your talent and knowledge

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in multi-entity environments
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP; IFRS is a plus)
  • Experience with treasury operations and payment processes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, experience with Netsuite is an advantage
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and autonomy
  • Fluent in Italian and English
